(Posted Wednesday, February 24) Lampasas used a three-run rally in the sixth inning to down Gatesville 5-3 Tuesday night in the season opener for both teams. More details to come on Tuesday's game. Weather permitting, Gatesville will now serve as hosts of its annual GHS Invitational, which gets underway here Thursday and continues through Saturday. The Hornets will face Tolar (2:00 PM) and Killeen High (7:00 Pm) in Thursday pool play. A copy of the bracket is attached.
