Athlete Information
The changes to the Sportsware program are now complete and parents can now set up and update their child's information. Go towww.swol123.net, click on the "Join Sportsware" icon, and follow the instructions. The school ID is "hornets". Instructions are included in the medical information letter below. Please remember to enter your child's name with your email address. If you enter your name, it will set up a file for you, not your child. If you need additional information or help, contact GISD athletic trainer Tim Toker at [email protected].
Cold Weather Conditions
Here are some simple guidelines to use for any upcoming cold weather:
Low Risk 40oF & above Outside participation allowed w/appropriate clothing
Moderate Risk 30oF -40oF Additional protective clothing (hat, gloves)
Provide re-warming facilities
High Risk 20oF -30oF Outside participation limited to 45 minutes*
All participants must have appropriate clothing
Provide re-warming facilities
ExtremeRisk 20oF or below Termination of all outside activities#
* Frostbite can occur in 30 minutes
