AMERICAN WEST - ADAM MATTHEWS A digitized collection of primary sources which includes over 300 manuscripts, broadsides, maps, and rare printed works (such as pamphlets, leaflets, and city directories) about the American West.
AMERICAN INDIAN HISTORY AND CULTURE - ADAM MATTHEW American Indian Histories and Cultures is a major resource containing material from the Newberry Library's extensive Edward E. Ayer Collection; one of the strongest archival collections on American Indian history in the world. Primary Resources include maps, journals, photographs, newspapers, and artwork - all digitized.
This is an online encyclopedia which provides interfaces for elementary, middle school, and high school. It includes Encyclopedia Britannica, Compton's by Britannica, Global Reference Center, Annals of American History, Webster's Third New International Dictionary and other sources.

This database provides resources in Spanish in two interfaces -- Enciclopedia Universal en Espanol (7th grade and up) and Enciclopedia Juvenil (ages 6 - 12).  It includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlas, images, and multimedia. This reference is helpful for native Spanish speakers, bilingual students, and Spanish students.
