Pre-AP English 2
In Pre-AP English 2, we will be working on critical reading skills, grammar skills, and analytical writing skills to enhance students' overall literacy competency. We will read a variety of literary works and will have many writing assignments throughout the year. We will also have timed reading and writing sessions to prepare Pre-AP students for the AP English Language test they will take their junior year. By its very nature, Pre-AP curriculum moves at an increased pace with an increased level of difficulty. Pre-AP students are expected to keep up with the increased rigor of the class. If your student begins having any difficulty, please visit with your student first regarding the nature of the difficulty, then contact me so we can work together to help your student.
