Meet the 2026–2027 Gatesville High School Dazzlers!

Under the expert direction of GISD educators Kari Patterson and Amanda Wolff, the Dazzlers are ready to bring the energy, passion, and precision this season!

  • May 10th: Bake Sale @ The Depot 8:00-12:00 
  • May 27th-29th: Little Dazzlers Camp @ GHS New Gym 1:00-3:00 (showcase Thursday at 3:00)
  • May 31st: 2nd payment of $300+ due 
  • June 30th: 3rd payment of $300+ due (returners will be less)
  • July 7th-10th: Summer Dance Camp @ Jr. High New Gym 9:00-4:30
  • July 9th: Summer Dance Camp SHOW-OFFS for family/friends 2:00-3:00@ Jr. High New Gym
  • July 14th-16th: Practices @  time & place TBD
  • July 21st-23th: Practices @ time & place TBD
  • July 23rd: Friday Night Lights Rehearsal w/ cheer & band @GHS Football Field 7:00-9:00
  • July 28th-30st: Practices @ time & place TBD
  • August 2nd: Dazzlers+Cheerleaders Lock-in Slumber party  7:00 p.m-7:00 a.m. @ GHS
  • August 4th: Convocation Performance for teachers @ GHS auditorium 7:30 (arrive at 7:00)
  • August 13th: First Day of School +first regular season practice @ 4:00
  • August 20th: Meet the Hornets 8:00-9:00

Football season practices will be every Tuesday morning (6:00-7:30 a.m.), Wednesday morning (6:00-7:30 a.m.), and Thursday afternoon (4:00-6:00).

Additional practices may be scheduled during the year as needed, but we are going to try to make sure you have adequate time to plan for those. Attendance at practices is mandatory in order for dancers to be on the field, and perform at pep rallies.

Introducing your 2025-26 Dazzlers Co-Directors Katie Patterson and Amanda Wolff! 

Amanda is a Gatesville native who is returning to coaching the Dazzlers after taking a break to raise her two girls. Amanda was both a cheerleader and Dazzler at GHS and is very excited to be returning to the role of coach. She has been teaching in Gatesville for over 20 years and is currently the math interventionist at Gatesville Elementary. 

Kari is a Minnesota girl, who danced competitively her whole upbringing and then on her college dance team. She moved to Gatesville back in 2018 and has been teaching in the district ever since. This next school year she will be teaching Pre-K at Gatesville Primary. 

Both Amanda and Kari are thrilled to be joining the Friday Night Lights crew as co-directors of the GHS Dazzlers. They hope, with the support of the school and community, to continue the tradition of excellence!
